It probably comes as no surprise when a video game gets mentioned in conversation but there are quite a few special memories of mine that involve them, so here we go (again). When it comes to cars (and car maintenance) I am certainly not the expert especially considering that most of my knowledge comes from street racing games but sometimes it would be a special bonding time when brother (the mechanic, who would have guessed) and I would tag team beating them together. Either taking turns on races or running through the games campaign. Between the hours of Rush 2, or taking on all the Need 4 Speed games we could get our hands on, we finally made it to N4S: Carbon which introduced a team element to the otherwise standard racing protocol and there was one character that always stuck out to us- Neville. And it was really only because we liked his introduction song once we unlocked him. And since this week is Mechanic brothers birthday, we’re celebrating him with our tune, affectionately called “Neville’s song.” It’s The Presets with Steamworks.
